In XiangShan-doc, he improved the readability and consistency of technical documentation by refining Markdown formatting and correcting typographical errors, which streamlined contributor onboarding and PR review. For GEM5, he focused on RISC-V architecture support, refactoring the decoder to remove redundant rv32-specific code and unnecessary zero or sign extension logic. Using ISA and Markdown, Manyang’s work enhanced code clarity and maintainability, laying a foundation for future RISC-V extensions and more efficient memory address handling in the architecture.
