Worked on the openconfig/featureprofiles repository to enhance the resilience and maintainability of Authorization Policy Retrieval within backend systems. Addressed a critical bug by resolving unreachable code in authorization tests and improved error handling to ensure the system responds gracefully when no policy exists. Focused on refining test quality and aligning code with formatting standards, which reduced potential failure modes and streamlined debugging. Collaborated with peers to implement these changes using Go, emphasizing backend development and robust testing practices. The work contributed to more reliable policy decisions and improved system stability, ultimately supporting maintainable and efficient backend infrastructure for future development.
