Eirik Rasdal enhanced the nrkno/netbox-devicetype-library by refining the EVS XS-NEO PMX2 device type definition, ensuring that interfaces, console ports, and power ports accurately matched hardware specifications. Using YAML and leveraging Infrastructure as Code principles, Eirik improved device inventory accuracy and asset visibility without requiring codebase modifications. He also added front and rear asset images for the EVS XS-NEO PMX2, utilizing the Netbox Self Service portal to streamline the update process. The work demonstrated a focused application of device management skills, delivering targeted improvements that increased the reliability and clarity of hardware inventory data within the repository.
