Heidi Mork developed a device type definition for the Black Box DKM FX 80-Port chassis in the nrkno/netbox-devicetype-library repository, focusing on standardizing metadata for complex hardware assets. She used YAML to specify key attributes such as manufacturer, model, physical dimensions, ten module bays, and dual IEC C14 power ports. This work improved the consistency and searchability of device types within NetBox, streamlining asset management and accelerating the onboarding of similar devices.
