Worked on governance and compliance enhancements in the cncf/foundation repository, focusing on streamlining maintainer audits and license exception validation. Developed new issue templates and automated validation workflows using GitHub Actions and YAML, enabling maintainers to request license exceptions and undergo audits more efficiently. Leveraged skills in DevOps and open source governance to reduce compliance risk and improve transparency across the project. Updated the KAI Scheduler maintainers as part of these changes, ensuring alignment with CNCF governance standards. The work emphasized policy-driven automation and cross-team collaboration, resulting in improved governance visibility and a strengthened compliance posture within the foundation’s workflows.
