Elias Benbourenane focused on enhancing file system reliability for the Radarr and Sonarr repositories by addressing critical bugs related to symbolic link handling. Working in C# and leveraging core library expertise, Elias improved the GetFileSize utility to accurately resolve symlinks and report the size of target files, ensuring precise disk space calculations across both projects. This work aligned file system operations between Radarr and Sonarr, reducing discrepancies in space reporting and supporting downstream workflows. By linking each fix to explicit commits, Elias also improved traceability and auditability, demonstrating a methodical approach to maintaining data integrity in complex file system environments.
