Worked on backend development for the Radarr and Sonarr repositories, focusing on improving the robustness of IMDB-ID-based synchronization and import-list handling. Addressed two critical bugs by refining C# logic to ensure IMDB ID comparisons only occurred when both entities had valid, non-empty IDs. This approach prevented erroneous deletions and synchronization failures, preserving entries without IMDB IDs and maintaining data integrity during library maintenance. Enhanced testing around these scenarios to further strengthen system reliability. The work emphasized careful handling of edge cases in C# and backend workflows, resulting in more dependable synchronization and import-list processes for users managing media libraries.
