Worked on enhancing API documentation for the openMF/fineract repository, focusing on improving discoverability and onboarding for developers. The work centered around adding Swagger tags and descriptive texts to the Journal Entries, Notifications, and User Administration APIs, directly supporting the FINERACT-1222 initiative. Using Java and Swagger Documentation, the developer consolidated and clarified API endpoints, making it easier for API consumers to navigate and understand available features. The technical approach emphasized clear traceability through well-documented commits, ensuring maintainability and transparency. This contribution addressed a key documentation gap, streamlining the developer experience for those integrating with the Fineract platform’s APIs.
