Worked on localization enhancements for the pretix/pretix repository, focusing on improving the Catalan translation. Addressed a bug by correcting a plural form string and updated translator and generator metadata to streamline future translation efforts. Leveraged gettext and i18n best practices within a Weblate-based workflow to ensure accurate and maintainable localization. The changes increased Catalan translation coverage to 29.7 percent, directly benefiting Catalan-speaking users by improving user experience and reducing localization risks for upcoming releases. This work provided clearer visibility into translation progress for stakeholders and established a more efficient process for ongoing localization and metadata management within the project.
