Developed the initial Bioconda packaging for the pcdl (Physicell Data Loader) tool within the bioconda/bioconda-recipes repository, focusing on enabling streamlined installation and reproducible research environments. The work involved creating a comprehensive recipe using YAML, specifying package metadata, source and build configurations, and managing dependencies such as Python, anndata, and matplotlib. Integrated CLI entry points and test commands ensured that the package could be validated automatically during the build process. This packaging automation and dependency management effort improved deployment reproducibility and accessibility for researchers, establishing a reliable workflow for distributing pcdl through Bioconda’s package management ecosystem.
