Al Walsh enhanced the uc-cdis/gen3-helm repository by introducing an amiOwner field to the amiSelectorTerms within the Helm chart values, enabling more precise targeting of Amazon Machine Images during Kubernetes deployments. This update, implemented using YAML and Helm, aligned the AMI selection logic with evolving infrastructure requirements and reduced the risk of deployment misconfigurations. Walsh incremented the Helm chart version to 0.6.24 to maintain compatibility across downstream environments, ensuring smoother release processes.
