Worked on the Azure/azure-cli-extensions repository to deliver a compatibility upgrade for the Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) CLI extension. Focused on adopting the latest SDK and API version, the work involved updating the extension to align with the 2026-03-02-preview API specification and removing deprecated options from create and update commands. This ensured the extension remained compatible with evolving Azure services and reduced future maintenance overhead. The project required strong skills in Azure CLI, Kubernetes, and cloud computing, as well as proficiency in Python to integrate new SDK features and maintain consistency with the updated API across the extension’s commands.
