During January 2026, Erandi De Silva established the foundational architecture for Twilio-based communications within the SkappHQ/skapp repository. She focused on backend development using Java and XML, implementing the Twilio SDK as a managed dependency to enable future real-time messaging and call features. Her work included aligning the Esign module’s integration paths with the new communication groundwork, ensuring cross-module compatibility and smoother future development. Although no bugs were addressed during this period, Erandi’s efforts in dependency management and architectural scaffolding laid the groundwork for accelerated feature delivery and streamlined pull request cycles in upcoming sprints for the project.
