Worked on the Kaggle/kaggle-environments repository with a focus on codebase hygiene and maintenance. Addressed repository clutter by removing an obsolete session-info.json file that contained temporary session data, thereby improving maintainability and reducing confusion during debugging and deployment. The approach centered on disciplined code cleanup and artifact management using Git, ensuring that outdated session data no longer impacted reproducibility or onboarding for new contributors. Demonstrated skills in repository management and JSON handling, with attention to the session data lifecycle. The work contributed to a cleaner codebase, streamlined workflows, and a lower risk of errors related to stale or unnecessary artifacts.
