Worked on the github-maccloud/runner-images repository to improve the reliability of simulator runtime provisioning for macOS development environments. Addressed a persistent issue by updating the runtime validation logic, using PowerShell and regular expressions to accurately identify and install visionOS and iOS runtimes. This fix ensured that Xcode 16.2 consistently installs the correct simulator runtimes, reducing setup failures and streamlining onboarding for new contributors. The changes enhanced the maintainability of the provisioning process, making it more auditable and easier to extend for future Xcode releases. Leveraged CI/CD and DevOps practices to deliver a more robust macOS development workflow.
