Worked on the goldmansachs/legend-engine repository to enhance dependency management and classloader functionality. Focused on restoring a previously removed memsql dependency, ensuring compatibility with existing features and reducing the risk of regressions in memsql-dependent workflows. Delivered new classloader capabilities that lay the foundation for future dynamic loading and modular extension of core engine components. Collaborated closely with another contributor to implement these changes, using Java, Maven, and XML to manage dependencies and configure the build process. The work addressed a specific compatibility gap and improved the maintainability of the engine’s dependency structure, supporting ongoing extensibility and stability for the project.
