Worked on the atlassian-labs/gitlab-for-compass repository, focusing on improving build stability and long-term maintainability through targeted dependency management. Upgraded the Forge GraphQL and core dependencies to their latest stable versions using JavaScript and Yarn, while also removing unused explicit dependencies to streamline the dependency graph. This approach reduced the risk of version conflicts and technical debt, resulting in fewer build failures and more predictable releases. Although no major bugs were addressed during this period, the work laid a foundation for faster future feature development by enhancing code health and supporting more efficient release engineering practices within the project.
