
Worked on the EngineSquared/EngineSquared repository to deliver entity-component system (ECS) relationship utilities that enhance how entities and components are queried and related within the codebase. Developed new C++ features such as TryGetChildComponents and TryGetParentComponent, enabling safer and more expressive navigation of entity relationships. Focused on improving reliability by addressing issues in component resolution and reducing runtime errors in critical gameplay and logic paths. Reinforced the project’s software architecture with comprehensive unit testing, updated documentation, and improved build workflows for cross-platform compatibility, ensuring that changes are validated rapidly and that the system remains robust and maintainable over time.
