During July 2025, F4IZC enhanced the Wavelog/wavelog repository by delivering targeted French localization improvements across both the installer and core application. Focusing on internationalization and translation, F4IZC consolidated existing French translations using PO files and the Weblate platform, ensuring consistency and maintainability across components. The work streamlined the translation workflow, laying the foundation for faster multilingual releases and improved user experience for French-speaking users. Although no bugs were addressed during this period, the effort prioritized cross-repository alignment and scalability in localization practices, reflecting a methodical approach to UX and maintainability within the broader context of software internationalization.
