Developed and delivered BlinkStick busylight support for the gonicus/gonnect repository, enabling real-time status indication through USB HID RGB lighting. The implementation was self-contained, requiring no external dependencies, and utilized explicit vendor and product IDs to streamline integration and quality assurance. The feature introduced BusylightOnOff and BusylightColor commands, supporting RGB color control for up to eight LEDs on BlinkStick devices. All changes were committed as a cohesive update following cross-team collaboration, which improved deployment reliability and feedback cycles. The work demonstrated proficiency in C++ development, HID protocol handling, and USB device integration, focusing on maintainability and ease of adoption.
