During a two-month period, Fanda Dep worked on enhancing JSON and nullability support in the juspay/diesel repository, focusing on PostgreSQL integration within the Diesel ORM. They implemented support for the json_populate_record and jsonb_populate_record functions, introducing new function definitions, helper types, and comprehensive tests to ensure accurate mapping of JSON and JSONB data to composite types. Fanda also developed the CombinedAllNullableValue trait to improve handling of nullable fields in JSON/JSONB population, refactoring existing logic for robustness. Additionally, they upgraded CI/CD workflows in microsoft/qsharp using Rust, SQL, and GitHub Actions to improve pipeline reliability and security.
