During November 2025, Facundo Aguiar developed platform-level feature flag management for the ansible/eda-server repository, transitioning flag storage from static settings to a centralized platform database. This change made the gateway the primary provider for runtime flag updates, enabling real-time synchronization of feature flags across EDA and related services. Facundo designed and documented an end-to-end testing plan to validate runtime updates, specifying prerequisites and integration points. The work, implemented using Python, Django, and API development skills, established a foundation for improved governance and safer rollouts of feature flags, reflecting a focused and well-structured approach to backend platform engineering.
