Developed and integrated an IGMP Packet Analyzer into the zeek/zeek repository, enabling detailed analysis and event logging of IGMP traffic within the Zeek framework. Leveraged Zeek scripting and protocol development skills to import the analyzer from zeek-plugins/igmp, adapting it for seamless operation and future extensibility. The work enhanced network analysis capabilities by capturing IGMP events, supporting improved multicast visibility and anomaly detection for security monitoring. Updated the repository to support an external analyzer import pattern, laying groundwork for future plugin integration. The contribution focused on feature delivery, with no major bug fixes, and demonstrated depth in Zeek scripting and protocol analysis.
