Developed and delivered a language preference setting for the MangaDex extension in the miru-project/repo, enabling users to select their preferred language for downloaded chapters and ensuring deterministic, language-based chapter sorting. This feature was implemented using JavaScript and focused on robust extension development and API integration, with careful attention to configuration management and version control. The update improved content relevance and user experience by reducing language mismatch issues and support queries. Throughout the process, commit-driven traceability was maintained, and the extension version was incremented to signal the new capability, reflecting a methodical and user-focused engineering approach. No bugs were fixed.
