Worked on backend development for the bounswe/bounswe2025group9 repository, focusing on both code maintainability and user-facing features. Delivered a non-functional refactor by reorganizing the PhotoSerializer class within serializers.py, improving code readability and maintainability without altering functionality. Subsequently, implemented secure CRUD operations for managing users’ private food entries, enabling authenticated users to create, read, update, and delete their data with privacy safeguards. This work included a targeted bug fix to enhance data integrity and reliability. Leveraged Python, Django, and REST API best practices throughout, laying the foundation for future personalized nutrition features and analytics within the project.
