Nuri Basar developed a JWT-based user authentication system for the bounswe/bounswe2025group9 repository, focusing on secure and scalable API access. Leveraging Django and Python, Nuri implemented login functionality that generates JWT tokens upon successful authentication, enabling stateless session management. The work included updating API endpoints and views to support token-based authentication, which facilitates smoother onboarding for mobile and third-party clients. Comprehensive tests were added to cover scenarios such as successful login, invalid credentials, and missing fields, reflecting a test-driven approach. This feature enhanced the project’s security posture and demonstrated solid backend development and API design skills within a short timeframe.
