Filip Hanes delivered Slovak UI localization for the gristlabs/grist-core repository, translating nearly all server and client interface strings to expand accessibility for Slovak-speaking users. He utilized JSON for translation data and applied front end development skills to ensure seamless integration of localized content. Working through a Weblate-based workflow, Filip managed four translation commits across both server and client components, achieving 100% coverage for server strings and 99.7% for client strings. His approach established an end-to-end localization process, supporting maintainable future updates and preparing the product for broader market reach without introducing any critical bugs during the release period.
