During November 2025, Fai Kwok-Wai Fung developed support for thought signatures in the Gemini 3.0 Pro model within the phidatahq/phidata repository. He implemented a caching layer and enhanced asynchronous response handling in Python to enable the model to process and propagate thought signatures across multi-part messages and function calls. This work improved traceability and interpretability of model reasoning, laying the foundation for advanced analytics and governance in conversational AI workflows. By focusing on AI development, data handling, and modeling, Fung’s contribution addressed the need for end-to-end processing and readiness for future Gemini 3.0 Pro features in production environments.
