Enhanced test harnesses to better handle garbage collection, CRR simulations, and partition timing, resulting in more deterministic test outcomes and faster PR validation. Leveraged Go’s concurrency and debugging capabilities to deliver robust test coverage, enabling more reliable nightly builds and increasing developer productivity by minimizing intermittent failures and CI noise across core components.
May 2026 (2026-05) focused on stabilizing the TiDB test suite and hardening the TiFlash-related test infrastructure to reduce flakiness and accelerate PR validation. Key work delivered a hardened CI surface with robust handling of TiFlash availability, garbage collection preparation, CRR simulations, memory leak detection, blocked requests, task handling, and partition creation timing, across multiple test harnesses and modules.
