During December 2025, contributed to both the home-assistant/home-assistant.io and home-assistant/frontend repositories by implementing automatic temperature rounding for weather forecast data. Developed a shared rounding utility in TypeScript and JavaScript, ensuring consistent temperature formatting across backend and frontend components. Added a configurable option to the frontend weather forecast card, allowing users to enable or disable rounding as needed. Focused on UI/UX design principles to improve readability and reduce user confusion, aligning display logic between data sources. Communicated changes through clear documentation and commit messages, demonstrating an end-to-end approach to feature delivery and cross-repository collaboration without introducing new bugs.
