Worked on the govuk-one-login/github-actions repository to enhance continuous integration workflows by upgrading the SonarQube scan action from version 7.1.0 to 8.0.0. This update improved the effectiveness of code quality checks, enabling earlier detection of defects and supporting better maintainability across the codebase. Leveraged GitHub Actions, YAML, and Docker to implement and validate the upgrade, ensuring compatibility and stability within the CI/CD pipeline. The work also incorporated Dependabot to automate tooling updates, contributing to ongoing security and reliability. No major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a focused approach to feature delivery and infrastructure improvement.
