Worked on expanding Matter ecosystem compatibility within the mib1185/homeassistant-core repository, focusing on smart home integration and IoT development. Delivered a targeted feature that enabled fan-only mode control for the Resideo X2S Smart Thermostat, allowing users to manage fan operations consistently across Matter-enabled devices and Home Assistant automations. The implementation leveraged Python to integrate the thermostat into the Matter fan-only mode list, enhancing device usability and automation flexibility. No critical bug fixes were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development. The work demonstrated depth in home automation protocols and practical application of Python for device interoperability.
