Worked on the google/fhir-data-pipes repository to deliver a comprehensive documentation update focused on improving developer experience and maintainability. The update clarified the transformation process to the Parquet-on-FHIR schema, explained the view layer’s role in simplifying queries, and detailed how data is mapped to both database tables and Parquet files. Using Markdown and technical writing skills, the documentation was aligned with the current implementation, making onboarding easier and reducing maintenance risk. This work provided clear traceability to the relevant commit and ensured that future development can proceed more efficiently by offering precise, up-to-date reference material for the engineering team.
