Fritz Franz worked on feature enhancements and configuration management for the Goobstation and OmuStation repositories, focusing on YAML-driven map and entity updates. Over two months, Fritz delivered kettle configuration improvements across multiple maps, optimizing entity counts and updating engine versions to improve performance and visual fidelity. In ProjectOmu/OmuStation, Fritz refined oasis and gate configurations, aligning YAML files with engine changes to enhance user experience and gameplay reliability, particularly around bounty retrieval. The work demonstrated depth in map design, entity management, and project maintenance, resulting in more maintainable codebases and smoother deployments without introducing new bugs during the development period.
