Worked on the BCStudentSoftwareDevTeam/celts repository to deliver two features focused on improving user interface clarity and team onboarding processes. Updated the event creation template by standardizing terminology, ensuring that UI labels and code references consistently reflected the education and participation context. This involved iterative changes to HTML and Jinja2 templates, with terminology stabilized for future maintainability. Additionally, enhanced configuration management by updating YAML files to include a new contributor, supporting accurate attribution and onboarding tracking. The work emphasized traceability, as commit history now clearly links terminology updates and contributor changes, facilitating future audits and ongoing improvements to the application’s workflow.
