During March 2025, contributed to the rclone/rclone repository by implementing OVHcloud Object Storage integration as an S3-compatible provider. This work involved updating Go code to support OVHcloud-specific regions and endpoints, ensuring seamless interoperability with the S3 protocol. The developer enhanced configuration handling and validated compatibility through integration tests, enabling users to reliably connect and manage OVHcloud storage within rclone. Comprehensive documentation updates were provided to guide users through setup and usage. By expanding provider integration and cloud storage options, the work improved rclone’s portability and reduced vendor lock-in, addressing the needs of users requiring diverse S3-compatible storage solutions.
