Worked on the microcai/gentoo-zh repository to upgrade the daed package from version 0.9.0 to 1.0.0, focusing on package management and Shell scripting. The process involved replacing outdated distribution files and updating the ebuild to match the upstream 1.0.0 release, ensuring compatibility with Gentoo’s Portage system. This update enabled users to access the latest stable release and its improvements without delay. The work emphasized careful validation of build processes and release readiness, supporting immediate availability for end users. Throughout the project, attention was given to maintaining repository standards and aligning with upstream changes for seamless integration.
