Worked on the flybywiresim/aircraft repository to address a targeted issue in the TCAS color logic, ensuring alignment with the A380 Flight Crew Operating Manual. Focused on front-end and UI development using JavaScript and TypeScript, the developer corrected the color mapping for TCAS modes such as TARA and Normal/Above/Below, enhancing visual fidelity and operational clarity within the simulation’s cockpit interface. The solution improved adherence to real-world procedures, reducing potential pilot confusion and supporting more accurate training scenarios. All changes were implemented with clear traceability, facilitating quality assurance and verification against official documentation and training materials for the A380X/MFD.
