Worked on the huggingface/chat-ui repository to deliver integration for the Poe Chat Provider, expanding the chat interface’s interoperability with external providers. Focused on enhancing the provider-agnostic architecture, the work enabled users to connect Poe within the chat UI while maintaining low integration costs for future providers. Updated project documentation using Markdown to clarify the Poe API endpoint and API key format, streamlining onboarding for additional providers. The approach prioritized extensibility and business value by broadening provider coverage with minimal risk. The contribution centered on documentation and integration, reflecting a targeted, maintainable addition to the project’s chat provider ecosystem.
