
During October 2025, Exkage expanded the rendering capabilities of the o3de/o3de repository by developing and integrating a comprehensive Tonemapping Operator Suite. This work introduced multiple tonemapping operators, including AGX Golden, Punchy, Warm, an extended Reinhard tonemapper with luminance-based adjustments, and the Khronos PBR Neutral tonemapper. Exkage updated both the C++ rendering pipeline and GLSL shaders to expose these new operators to artists, enabling broader visual styles and more flexible HDR workflows. The project demonstrated depth in graphics programming and shader development, providing a scalable foundation for future enhancements while maintaining stability and avoiding regressions throughout the integration.
