Worked on the alphagov/smart-answers repository to deliver a targeted feature clarifying the scope of the Maternity/Paternity Calculator, specifically addressing Neonatal Care Pay and Leave. Updated the start page using erb templates to inform users when the calculator cannot be used, thereby reducing confusion and aligning the tool with product requirements. Focused on front end development, the work emphasized user experience improvements and clear communication of calculator limitations. Maintained strong commit hygiene and collaborated closely with product and engineering teams to ensure accuracy. No major bugs were reported or fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and UX clarity.
