During June 2025, Ginger updated the maintainer roster for the cncf/foundation repository by adding Yuna Morgenstern to the project-maintainers.csv file. This work focused on governance and metadata management, ensuring the roster accurately reflected current responsibilities without introducing risk to the codebase. Ginger used CSV for the metadata update, applying documentation and project management skills to align contributor records with recent maintainer votes. The change was metadata-only, preserving code stability while improving governance accuracy and contributor visibility. The update enhanced onboarding and decision-making processes, with clear traceability through commit history to support future governance reviews and audits. Depth was limited.
