Worked on the GoogleCloudPlatform/gcsfuse repository to enhance observability and operational troubleshooting by developing a FUSE wire logging feature. This addition introduced a new flag enabling serialization of FUSE operations to a file in JSON format, supporting in-depth analysis of workload patterns and facilitating faster root-cause investigation. The implementation integrated closely with jacobsa/fuse to ensure reliable and ordered operation traces, all delivered in a single, focused commit. Utilizing Go and backend development skills, the work addressed the need for improved diagnostics and performance tuning, providing a practical tool for developers to analyze and optimize FUSE-based file system workloads.
