Worked on the centreon/centreon-plugins repository to enhance security and reliability by upgrading critical dependencies. Focused on updating log4j from version 2.17.1 to 2.25.3, addressing known vulnerabilities and improving logging capabilities. Also upgraded undertow-core from 2.3.17.Final to 2.3.22.Final, incorporating bug fixes and performance enhancements. Leveraged Java, XML, and build tools to ensure seamless integration and maintainability. All changes were implemented with clear commit traceability, supporting future audits and updates. This work reduced security risks, improved runtime stability, and provided a smoother upgrade path for downstream users relying on the Centreon plugins ecosystem.
