During October 2025, Daniel developed support for the INCLUDED protocol in CGI requests within the golang/go repository, aligning the implementation with RFC 3875 specifications. He focused on backend development using Go, enhancing the server’s ability to correctly handle server-side includes in Apache SSI scenarios. Daniel addressed protocol detection logic to recognize the SERVER_PROTOCOL value INCLUDED, resolving a longstanding compatibility issue and improving interoperability with CGI workflows. His changes underwent Go’s standard review process and automated CI validation, demonstrating careful attention to quality and stability. This work expanded the reliability and business value of dynamic content pipelines built with Go.
