During April 2025, Gil Cano focused on improving the documentation for the plone/cookieplone-templates repository, addressing a critical onboarding issue by correcting the README to reflect the accurate CLI command for Plone site creation. By updating the command from 'make create_site' to 'make create-site', Gil ensured that developers and users could reliably set up their environments without encountering avoidable errors. This work demonstrated careful attention to documentation hygiene and a docs-first approach, utilizing Markdown to maintain clarity and accuracy. Although no new features were added, Gil’s contribution enhanced the overall reliability and usability of the project’s setup process.
