Worked on the aau-giraf/foodplanner repository to enhance codebase quality by focusing on test cleanliness and maintainability. Delivered a targeted feature that involved removing an outdated, commented-out block from the meal_test.dart file, which reduced test noise and improved the readability of unit tests. This approach laid the foundation for faster future test iterations and simplified onboarding for new contributors. The work centered on Dart and unit testing practices, emphasizing clean code principles and maintainable test suites. No bugs were fixed during this period, but the improvements made support more efficient development and easier updates to the test infrastructure going forward.
