Worked on the cowprotocol/services repository to automate dependency maintenance for GitHub Actions, focusing on improving CI/CD reliability and reducing manual intervention. Developed and documented a Renovate bot configuration using JSON5, enabling weekly automated updates of GitHub Actions dependencies with a 14-day stability gate and commit SHA pinning for enhanced security. The approach included a dry-run workflow and clear validation steps to ensure safe, reproducible updates before merging. By streamlining the pull request process and laying the groundwork for large-scale upgrades of critical workflows, the work strengthened dependency management practices and supported more robust DevOps automation within the project.
