Worked on the GEOS-ESM/swell repository to deliver a configuration-driven enhancement supporting cloud seeding experiments. Developed and integrated a Cloud_Seeding option within YAML configuration files under geos_atmosphere/observations, enabling this feature for five distinct observation configurations. This approach centralized experiment control, allowing researchers to activate cloud seeding across multiple instruments through a single configuration parameter. Focused on configuration management using YAML, the work improved reproducibility and streamlined data assimilation planning. No bug fixes were recorded during this period, reflecting a targeted effort on feature delivery and infrastructure for scientific experimentation rather than maintenance or troubleshooting existing code.
In August 2025, delivered a key config-driven capability for GEOS-ESM/swell by introducing a Cloud_Seeding option in YAML under geos_atmosphere/observations and enabling it for five observation configurations. This enables more flexible cloud-seeding experiments across multiple instruments and supports reproducible research through centralized configuration.
