During the month, contributed a critical upgrade to the srid/nixpkgs repository by updating the Tetragon package from version 0.11.0 to 1.2.0, focusing on build system reliability and package management. The work involved aligning BPF build configurations and specifically disabling the zerocallusedregs hardening option to improve build stability for the new release. Using Nix and leveraging expertise in build systems, ensured that the upgrade maintained security standards and did not introduce regressions for downstream users. The approach emphasized careful validation of build integrity, supporting a smooth transition for consumers relying on the updated Tetragon package within the repository.
